PostnatalME: Mum's Health Expo. Expert speakers cover the key areas of postnatal wellbeing. 10am–1pm, Forsyth Barr Stadium.

Overlocking for Beginners. From intimidation to your favourite studio tool – uncover the mysteries of your overlocker. 1–4pm, Stitch Kitchen.

Sunday 23 August

Dunedin Spiritualist Church Open Day. Tarot and oracle readings, spiritual healing, massage and bodywork. 11am–3pm, Dunedin Spiritualist Church, 36 Rankeilor Street.

Marine Encounters at the NZ Marine Studies Centre. Tour the Portobello Marine Lab's research and teaching facilities. 10–11:30am or 12–1:30pm, NZ Marine Studies Centre.

Albatross Wildlife Cruise. See the Northern Royal Albatross chicks learning to fly! 4–5:30pm, Port Chalmers or Portobello departures. (Every Sun until end Sept.)

Otago v Wellington. 5:05pm, Forsyth Barr Stadium. 

Dunedin Observatory Open Night. Guided telescope viewing of planets, nebulae, star clusters, and distant galaxies. Every Sunday between April–September. 7–9pm, Dunedin Observatory, 1a City Road.
